Welcome to the Tapehiss Recordings home on the Interweb. Tapehiss Recordings is a recording label started by Scott Carr in 1990. Originally a cassette-only vehicle for releasing his solo electronic music, it has evolved over the years to include work by many other musicians and sound artists. Current projects include Hebephrenic and The Hot Buttered Elves as well a several other collaborations.
Some recordings are available from CD Baby, Amazon, iTunes, and several other online music providers. More will follow as time permits.
